About James Raska

Artist Raska states, "I produce my paintings by applying many layers of paint with brushes and rollers.I then sand ,scrape,and wipe the paint off and repeat the process until the painting starts going in a direction I am satisfied with. I work on many paintings at once and they evolve over a period of days and weeks.I know a painting is complete when I have lived the work and the composition still holds up after a given period of time".

Artist Raska has been painting for 12 years. He is collected locally and internationally. Presently represented by AnArte Gallery. Collectors include Neiman Marcus and UTSA .
