Andy Tschoepe
ARTIST BIOGRAPHY
Andy Tschoepe was born in 1978 in San Antonio, TX, and began doodling at age two. Concentrating on the subject of people, he continued to draw, virtually non-stop, for the next 20 or so years, eventually switching his main vocation to painting, which he has pursued earnestly ever since. At the time this as-yet-unbroken love affair with brush and pigment began, he was attending The University of Texas at San Antonio, making art under the instruction of outstanding figurative painters Charles Field and Roxi McCloskey, among others. He graduated in 2002 from UTSA with a BFA in visual art (concentration: painting).
